The Bay Area sports community is grieving the tragic loss of Guardian Harper, a promising young football talent who recently graduated from El Cerrito High School. Harper, known for his strength, leadership, and undeniable presence on the field, has passed away, leaving family, friends, coaches, and teammates in deep sorrow.
Harper, 5’11” and 215 lbs, played as a middle linebacker and running back. He was part of multiple football programs during his high school and early college years, including standout performances for Benicia High School, El Cerrito High School, and more recently, City College of San Francisco and American River College.
While details surrounding his passing have not been officially released, tributes have poured in across social media, reflecting the love and admiration he earned throughout his journey as a student-athlete.
